I have shared the past 4 months at school with my JTA-B classmates and in a span of 2 more weeks, we will bid each other goodbye as we start off our own experiences abroad. Sure JTA 1st semester was pretty stressful with loads of undecipherable readings courtesy of Philo101, long-gone memorization skills put back to use by Theo131, practical applications summed up in LS100 and countless study groups formed to necessitate our needs for Fin103... but in the end I would have to say this is my best semester by far in the Ateneo. It's not because that I did well academically speaking (but I sure hope I did), but I guess it's the atmosphere created by such a diverse yet fun group of people in class.
I'd never forget...
- Diet days with Shermz and Joni and jogging like hell at the oval at Moro
- Early badminton matches with Rej, Cabal and the list goes on...
- Lunching out at Katipunan and taking-out Starbucks to bring to LS class to make us look more "corporate"
- The "W" (enough said!)
- Study groups with Ed, Mich and John at Mocha Blends
- Kicking Rej and Charles' butt at Mario Tennis! (Of course, teammate ko ata si Raf!)
- Getting kicked in the ass by Rej and Charles at Sega Soccer (revenge!)
- 5.5 Gigabytes of Fun and Excitement
- Teasing John!!!
- The Apple ibook/powerbook craze
- Theo "A" reports
Along with these memories of course come the friendships made/deepened/renewed and I guess above all it is this that I am very thankful for.
To: Shermz, Joni, Cabal, Charles, Rej, John, Raf, Jen, Ed and Mich.
- Thank you for the great times, kalokohan, gimmicks, help and the company. Being with you guys puts back the cool in school! (corny)
To Kitty, Mick, Migi, Gino, Char and Viv
- You guys for some reason believe I can achieve things and I am thankful for that because lately I guess I haven't been believing in myself.
I think it's that time when I get senti again because things are ending... Anyways, have fun abroad guys and see you 2nd sem in January. Hope we can all plan something before everyone leaves.
