Then I told Tj about this short story "That's How She Says Goodbye" at east of the web
The site is pretty cool, especially when you've got lots of free time and you're running out on cash to buy books or you can't seem to finish your book because its way too creepy (The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova) haha.
Our verdict on the story:
Tj liked the mood but found the ending quite weird. I, again, used the term "unsettling sadness" for this story. Yeah, the ending is quite a surprise, it leaves you weirded out, but I guess that is the unique quality it has. Good job and it only needs a few tweakings in the flow to make this a superb story.
We ended at 4:30 am but I think I slept at 5:00 already, thinking as I lay down on the bed...
